Recently Completed Projects include:

AUTO-ARMING ALARM + ENERGY SAVING SYSTEM + PRESENCE DETECTOR

Multi-purpose Presence Detection System based on Siemens Logo ®

An energy saving device, a self-arming alarm system, and a impending death detector, working off a Siemens Logo PLC, and a handful of PIRs and Relays. Automatically detects presence in up to 4 zones:

ENERGY SAVING MODE - turns devices on or off when people are present, so for instance TVs, Lights, Computer Monitors,etc could all be turned on only in occupied rooms, turning off when we leave the room.
AUTO-ARMING ALARM SYSTEM - automatically arms alarm system when no person is in any room i.e. when the premises are empty.
SLEEP-ALARM MODE - automatically turns on a secondary alarm when people are in the house but are not moving much, i.e. are asleep.
DEATH-DETECTOR - Can also detect death, so can be used to monitor premises used by elderly or infirm persons.

On-going Projects include:

Integrations using Gumstix ® Technology - for home-automation, robotic vehicles and a self-aware security system.
Automatic Stock Control System - an RfID-tag system and a collection of roaming Gumstix ® Computers, backended to one or more Linux or Windows computers/netbooks - automatically monitors stock quantities, movements and bin locations within a single or multiple locations. Very small footprint, low-maintenance and low-cost solution.
Development of micro-ITX and pico-ITX PCs - miniature and sub-miniature, full-function PCs and Computers, for desktop-or-anywhere use using both Windows and Linux
User-Operated Content Management + On-Line Database System - so users can easily modify their own web pages and lists of things, such as properties, products, or services.
