We install systems to work around your favourite applications, as well as enable you to participate in the world of networking, safely, and usually for free.

We actively support Linux and Open-Source projects, providing either Windows or Linux-based alternatives to common PC problems, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Symantec/McAfee/Sophos security products. Wherever possible we install free, open-source software and ensure it works at least as well as the bulky Microsoft product it is replacing.

Increasingly, the world is moving toward cost-effective computer systems, which means moving away from unwanted industry standards imposed for too long by Microsoft, Sun, IBM and others.

Exciting developments in telecoms, miniaturisation, embedded and small-form-factor hardware, together with the XP-style interfaces now available for Linux, means we can build sub-£200 machines that can go anywhere.

Nowadays, with a couple of sub-£200 1 Terabyte network disks, 19" touchscreen clients to replace the PCs, and on-line backup, email and commerce apps, you can simplify your IT by a factor of several hundred percent, and reduce your cost per user down to £300 - £400 (less using Linux).


Furthermore, by using such a reduced hardware footprint, you can unclutter your offices of cables, and use about a quarter the amount of electricity.
